Background:

The team was founded in 1897 in Turin, Italy. Juventus means youth in Latin.
The Italian way of football for over 110 years. 2005 is the centenary anniversary of the first Scudetto of Juventus.
Stadium: Stadio Grande Torino.
Team Captain: Alessandro Del Piero.
Tradition. Honor. Glory.
Palmares: 27 Serie A Championships (2 were rescinded), 9 Italian Cups, 4 Italian Supercups, 3 UEFA Cups, 2 European Cup Championships, 2 Intercontinental Cup Championships, 2 European Supercups, and 1 Cup Winners Cup. Juventus was the first European team to win the three major titles: Champions League, UEFA Cup, along with the Cup Winners Cup. Forza Juventus!

The team of Italy, the world, and my favorite team of all time. No other Italian team has provided more players to the National squad. For anyone who has ever kicked a ball, there is no greater honor than to wear the famous black and white (bianconero) jersey of Juventus.
Congratulations to Alessandro Del Piero, who has now passed legendary Juventino Giam Piero Boniperti with the most goals scored for the club at 182.
Congratulations to David Trezeguet who has now scored more goals than any foreigner in the history of Juventus.
Congratulations to Pavel Nedved upon being chosen the 2003 Golden Football (Balon D'Or) Winner by France Football magazine. He is the sixth Juventus player, and second Czech footballer, to receive this prestigious award.

Until 2004, the European Champion played against the South American Champion in Tokyo, Japan. It was known as the Toyota Cup. Juventus won this prestigious competition in its only two appearances: In 1985 against Argentinos Juniors, and in 1996 against River Plate.

Scoring Leaders in the Champions League (1988 to 2006.)

Entering 2005, Raúl of Real Madrid topped the list, and had also played the most games in the competition. But now Shevchenko of Chelsea FC is the leading scorer of the Champions League.
